Children Home for Boys at Salemthar, Chandel District
The Unique Children Home for Boys was established on 12th April, 2017 and have been running the home from our organisation’s own fund for 23 orphan, destitute, BPL Children at Salemthar, Chandel District.
However, from the financial year 2018-19, the children home was given grant-in-aid from the Ministry of Women and child development, govt. of India, New Delhi under Integrated child Protection scheme for 50 Children (ICPS) now Child Protection Scheme (CPS).
Prominent persons like Chairperson , Manipur Chandel, officials of District Child Protection office, Chandel, Additional Superintendant of Police, Chandel visited the home and interacted with the Children and also presented food, gifts to the children during the reporting year. At present there are 52 destitute, orphan children in the home referred by Child Line and Child Welfare committee, Chandel.
