Vocational Training
The organization has been running vocational Training Centre (VTC) for disabled persons since 2014 from the own fund of the organization. The Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, Govt. of India, New Delhi under DDRS scheme assisted financial grant-in-aid during 2015-16 and 2016-17 for 50 inmates but discontinued the programme from the financial year 2018. However, our organization is continuing the training in 3 different trades namely zari craft, embroidery & toys making. The centre is run at Pallel Bazar, near Bus/ Auto Parking, Chandel District, Manipur at a rented building.
Revival Foundation’s Vocational training programs are designed to provide practical skills and knowledge to individuals in order to enhance their employability and economic independence. Job Placement Assistance: We assist participants in finding employment opportunities after completing their vocational training. They may establish partnerships with local businesses, organizations, or industry networks to facilitate job placements or offer job placement support services.
Entrepreneurship Development: Some vocational training programs offered by Revival Founation also focus on fostering entrepreneurial skills. Participants receive training in business management, financial planning, marketing, and other essential aspects of starting and running a small business. This helps individuals who wish to become self-employed or start their own ventures.
Continuous Learning and Alumni Support: We often provide opportunities for continuous learning and professional development to their trainees even after they complete the vocational training program.
